First of all, thank you for your subscription. I hope you enjoyed the items you received and put them to good use.

This month’s theme is about hot and spicy ingredients! Each of the decks you received gives you a taste of spiciness, followed by one deck that is supposedly a remedy!

Firstly, take a look at the Jalapeño Playing Cards. Look at the faces on the cards as they eat these spicy peppers! It’s got unique art, and it’s exciting to venture through all the distinctive face cards. Moreover, inside the deck, you will find hidden Mexican Design and Maya Culture influences. Flip the cards and check out the Broken borders design technique on the patterned back. The cards are also part of the chillies series with the next deck in your subscription, which means you now have 2/3 of the necessary decks to complete this unique series. Without a doubt, it’s a fabulous deck!

Secondly, you received the Original Chillies Playing Cards. This deck is from the same lineup as the previous one and also includes unique illustrations. The standard-based courts have been made spicy, but the deck pays tribute to traditional faces with a delicious and exciting twist. Cartamundi prints both of the chillies decks on their Slim-line stock with a Premium B9 Finish. Both decks also include awesome gaff cards that add that extra bit of fun for magicians. Overall, these two spicy decks were perfect for this month.

Lastly, you opened The Sandwich Series (Bread) Playing Cards. That’s right: a deck of cards designed to look like a slice of bread. The cards feature fascinating faces with chefs cooking and bread-inspired dishes. You’ll also notice that the jokers have unique variations, making them a possible star of a magic colour change… Also, according to various sources, bread can be a remedy to spicy foods as it can absorb the spicy oils from peppers, making this deck perfect for this month’s combo. Not sure if eating the playing cards will help, though. 🙁 Nonetheless, be sure to #useyourcards; even if they’re spicy!

Finally, I want to thank you one last time for your purchase; I hope you continue to enjoy your monthly subscription box. Below is a form where you can put your comments on this month’s box. I will be sure to read all of them and consider them. You can let me know what you liked about the box, give ideas for future decks you’d like to receive, theme ideas, or anything else you’d like to say.
